The Connections Project is the largest irrigation modernisation project in Australia. The $2 billion project has delivered works to achieve 429 gigalitres of water saving. Earthworks Civil and Construction has provided project management, labour, mobile plant & equipment to the GMW Connections project from 2016 – present.

In this time we have installed over 150 meters, decommissioned more than 10km of back bone channels, installed approximately 20km of HDPE pipeline ranging in size from 63mm - 900mm, and installed 1200mm reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) through road reserve and roads.
