This project involved the demolition of the existing hot mix car park. A 55,000L underground retention system was then installed. Detention systems are used to reduce the quantity of stormwater run off leaving a site. This is done by temporarily storing the excess runoff, which is then released slowly over time ensuring the sites allowable discharge amount is not exceeded. This project was completed with 1300m2 of black oxide concrete pavement to form a car park.
